The Legion Is Live Again

Tony TestermanNews

The feeds moved. The algorithms got weirder. A lot of us still met up on convention carpet and in Discord threads while the website… hibernated.

That ends now.

Ninja Legion is still what it says on the tin: Nerdom. Unfiltered. Podcasts and show crews. Convention floors. Opinions that sound like people who actually waited in Artist Alley, not a brand kit.

What’s back

  • A real homepage built around shows and latest drops — not a decade-old blog pile with one random post on top.
  • Shows as the product — six active shows up front; the rest of the old lineup is retired or vault (not deleted).
  • A publishing rhythm we can keep: steady posts, episode notes, con desk pieces — not a burst of guilt-content then silence.
  • Shop at /shop/ when there’s something worth wearing. We’re not linking an empty cart for vibes.

What the archive is

From roughly 2008 through 2015, this site stacked hundreds of posts — peak years in the early 2010s when the shows and con coverage were loud. That’s not embarrassing dead weight. That’s proof of work.

If you’re new: start at Shows, then wander the vault.
If you’ve been here since the LiveJournal scars healed: welcome home; the carpet still smells like energy drinks and ambition.

How we’ll publish

  1. Show-first — notes, recaps, and listen links when episodes land.
  2. Con desk — previews, survival notes, and floor reports when we’re on site or covering from afar.
  3. Takes with a spine — news only when we have something to say.
  4. Vault features — pull a classic episode into the light so the back catalog keeps earning its keep.

Who’s on the mic

The Legion is a crew, not a logo. Profiles and host notes will keep landing on Profiles and in show posts as we go — if you were on the old mic, you’re still family.

Join the signal

The legion doesn’t need to be everywhere.
It needs to be here, on purpose.

Nerdom. Unfiltered.
See you on the next drop.
